I believe all children can learn when provided with the expectations of achievement, positive guidance, a safe and nurturing atmosphere that supports respectful communication and interaction between teacher and student, student to student positive interactions, and parent/teacher effective communication.

 

I understand that students have different learning styles, as a teacher it is my job to discover how each child learns best and integrate those styles into my teaching; while focusing on the whole child and developmentally appropriate practices that ensures successful growth of students.

 

I will emphasize responsibility, respect and accountability by stating the “Golden Rule”, “Treat Others The Way You Want To Be Treated!”, come to class ready to learn, be prepared for the day and responsible for your choices and actions. This is something that will be taught, modeled and practiced.
